Dedicated Teams

Dedicated Teams & Staff Augmentation

Senior engineers who join your standups, use your board and ship in your codebase — scaled up or down as the roadmap changes.

Hiring a senior engineer takes months and locks in fixed cost long after the project that justified it. A dedicated team gives you the same capability in weeks: engineers who work in your repositories, attend your ceremonies and are accountable to your roadmap, with the scale-down option a permanent hire does not have.

We staff for the work rather than the invoice — a self-sufficient squad with its own lead when you need throughput, or two specialists slotted into your existing team when you need specific skills. Either way you meet the engineers before they start, and they stay on your engagement rather than rotating between accounts.

The first two weeks are structured deliberately: environment running on day one, a codebase walkthrough with your leads, and a first real ticket shipped by day ten. Embedded engineers earn trust by shipping inside your process — your reviews, your definition of done — not by arriving with a methodology to install.

What you should expect from an embedded senior engineer is more than throughput: better pull-request reviews, questions that surface assumptions, tests and documentation that raise the bar around them. When capacity flexes back down, the codebase and the team should both be measurably stronger than before the engagement.

What's included

Dedicated Product Squads

A cross-functional team — engineers, QA and a tech lead — owning a product area end to end against your roadmap.

Staff Augmentation

Individual senior engineers embedded into your existing team, reporting to your leads and working your process.

Fractional Tech Leadership

Part-time CTO, architect or engineering manager support for teams that need senior direction without a full-time hire.

Team Ramp-Up & Onboarding

Structured first-two-weeks plan — codebase walkthroughs, environment setup and a first shipped ticket by day ten.

Knowledge Transfer & Handover

Documentation, pairing and staged handoff so capability stays with your team when the engagement winds down.

Technologies we reach for

  • React
  • Node.js

Why teams choose us

Weeks, Not Quarters

Engineers are working in your codebase in 2–3 weeks — no job posts, no notice periods, no recruiter fees.

Scale Both Directions

Add capacity for a heavy quarter and release it when the roadmap lightens, without redundancy processes.

Your Process, Your Repo

We work inside your tooling, standups and review standards — not as an external vendor lobbing over deliverables.

Continuity You Can Plan Around

Named engineers committed to your engagement, with documented handover if anyone does need to roll off.

Industries we serve

Frequently asked questions

How is this priced?

Monthly per engineer, based on seniority and role — typically $3k–$6k per person per month, with squads quoted as a bundle. There is no recruitment fee and no per-hour billing surprises.

What is the minimum commitment?

Three months, which is roughly when an embedded engineer becomes fully productive in an unfamiliar codebase. After that it is month to month with 30 days notice in either direction.

Do we choose who joins the team?

Yes. We propose candidates matched to your stack and domain, you interview them, and you decide. If someone is not the right fit in the first weeks, we replace them at our cost.

Dedicated team or fixed-price project — which should we pick?

Fixed-price fits well-defined scope with a clear finish line. A dedicated team fits evolving roadmaps, ongoing product work and situations where requirements will change mid-flight. If your scope is genuinely stable, we will recommend the fixed-price project instead.

What happens to the knowledge when the engagement ends?

It stays with you. Documentation and tests are written as we go rather than at the end, and the final weeks include pairing and a structured handover to your permanent team.

How do time zones and communication work?

We guarantee meaningful overlap with your working day and agree the ceremonies up front — standups, reviews, demos on your calendar, in your tools. Async fills the rest: written updates and documented decisions, so progress never hides in a chat scrollback you were asleep for.

How do you handle IP, confidentiality and access?

Everything produced is yours from the moment it is written, under an NDA signed before anyone sees code. Engineers work in your repositories under accounts you control and can revoke — least-privilege access, your security policies, no code leaving your systems.

What if we want to hire one of your engineers permanently?

It happens, and we treat it as a success rather than a betrayal — the terms for a buyout are in the contract from day one, so nobody has to have an awkward conversation. We would rather be the team you also hire from than a vendor guarding its people from you.
